FRC Launches Investigation into KPMG’s Audit of Entain
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) of the United Kingdom, an independent regulator overseeing auditors, accountants, and actuaries, has recently announced the commencement of an investigation into KPMG’s audit of Entain’s financial statements. Entain anticipates that its group EBITDA will fall within the higher range of the previously announced $1.27 billion to $1.33 billion. BetMGM, on the other hand, expects its second-half EBITDA loss to mirror that of the first half, resulting in an estimated full-year EBITDA loss of around $250 million.
